The eye area is one of the first places where tiredness, stress and ageing become visible.

Are you looking for a natural under-eye treatment that truly works? Dark circles, puffiness and a tired appearance do not always require fillers or surgery. A modern option combines i-PRF and carboxytherapy to support your body’s own capacity for repair.

When used together, these two treatments can produce visible changes within a few weeks and restore a fresher, brighter eye area without synthetic substances or surgery.

What is i-PRF, and why is it useful around the eyes?

i-PRF, or injectable platelet-rich fibrin, is a natural skin-rejuvenation method based on the patient’s own blood. The blood is processed using a special low-speed centrifugation method, producing a fibrin matrix that contains:

  • Platelets, which release factors that support growth and repair

  • White blood cells, which support tissue healing

  • A fibrin network, which acts as a slow-release matrix, gradually releasing growth factors over time

Unlike PRP, i-PRF forms a gel-like, biologically active matrix. It is injected beneath the skin or applied during microneedling. This creates favourable conditions for renewal without artificial substances or fillers.

Benefits of i-PRF around the eyes:

  • Improves skin structure and restores volume naturally

  • Softens fine lines and improves skin density

  • Supports the recovery of blood vessels and tissue, helping reduce dark shadows

  • Suitable for sensitive, thin skin – because the material comes from your own blood, the risk of an allergic reaction is minimal

Carboxytherapy – carbon dioxide that revitalises the skin

Carboxytherapy is a medical treatment in which medical-grade CO₂ is introduced beneath the skin. The body responds to this temporary signal by rapidly increasing blood flow, bringing more oxygen and nutrients to the area. This natural response activates the skin’s capacity for repair and stimulates collagen production.

Around the eyes, it can be particularly useful because it:

  • Improves microcirculation, helping reduce the appearance of dark pigmentation

  • Reduces puffiness and fluid retention by supporting lymphatic drainage

  • Activates the skin from within, without chemical products

  • Is quick and requires no downtime

A stronger combined effect: why do i-PRF and carboxytherapy work better together?

Using i-PRF and carboxytherapy together creates a complementary effect that can produce visible, longer-lasting results. Carboxytherapy prepares the skin by improving circulation and oxygen delivery, while i-PRF provides the area with growth factors and the building blocks for cellular repair.

The result:

  • A smoother, brighter eye area

  • Improved tone and more even texture

  • Less visible darkness and puffiness

  • Natural, gradual yet visible rejuvenation

Who is this treatment combination suitable for?

It may suit people who:

✅ Want a natural solution for under-eye darkness and tiredness
✅ Prefer to avoid fillers or synthetic substances
✅ Are looking for a longer-lasting result, not simply cosmetic coverage
✅ Want to stimulate renewal using their own body’s resources

It is not recommended in the presence of:
❌ Blood-clotting disorders
❌ Active inflammation or infection in the area
❌ An autoimmune skin condition in its active phase

What happens during the treatment?

  1. Consultation – we assess the condition of the skin and discuss which combination is right for you.

  2. Blood collection – a small amount of blood is drawn and i-PRF is prepared on site, taking about 15 minutes.

  3. Numbing gel can be applied if desired to reduce discomfort from micro-injections, especially for sensitive skin.

  4. Carboxytherapy injections are administered around the eyes to improve circulation and oxygen delivery.

  5. i-PRF injection or microneedling – the fibrin matrix is introduced into or onto the skin to initiate cellular and tissue renewal.

  6. The entire treatment takes about 45–60 minutes, after which normal daily activities can be resumed.

A course of three to four sessions at intervals of two to three weeks is recommended.
Results may begin to appear after a couple of weeks and can continue to develop over several months as renewal processes progress.

In summary – my sincere recommendation for refreshing the under-eye area

Working with skin every day, I often see how strongly the eye area affects a person’s overall appearance. Tired, dark or puffy under-eyes do not always reflect how someone feels inside. That is why I look for solutions that are effective, natural and kind to the skin.

My experience with both i-PRF and carboxytherapy has been very positive, especially when the two are used together. The combination works at a deeper level, stimulating the body’s own repair capacity and creating a fresher, smoother and more rested-looking eye area.

Clients often say after just a few treatments that they look as though they have simply had more rest. That kind of natural effect is exactly my goal.

✔ Suitable for sensitive skin
✔ Numbing gel can be used for maximum comfort when needed
✔ Results develop gradually and remain natural-looking
✔ No need to fear an overdone or artificial appearance

If you are tired of concealing the under-eye area with make-up or are looking for a solution that genuinely works, I sincerely recommend considering this combination. It may be the natural yet noticeable change you have been looking for.
