A chemical peel is an effective treatment that removes damaged surface layers and supports the renewal of healthier skin cells. It can reduce pigmentation, fine lines, acne scars and uneven texture. It is also well suited to congested, blemish-prone skin and helps restore a clearer, fresher appearance.
During a chemical peel, carefully selected acids are applied to the skin. Mild tingling or warmth can occur and is a normal response. Similar sensations, along with temporary flushing, may continue briefly after the acid is removed. The warmth usually lasts only a few minutes and is generally well tolerated. The skin may remain red and sensitive after the treatment.
1. The treatment begins with a consultation. The specialist assesses the skin and selects a suitable acid.
2. The skin is cleansed and prepared.
3. The selected acid is applied and left on for the prescribed time.
4. Mild tingling or warmth may be felt; this is normal and passes quickly.
5. Depending on the peel, the acid is either removed in the clinic or washed off later at home. If removed in the clinic, a soothing mask and moisturising products are applied.
NOON Aesthetics™ is an innovative chemical peel designed to achieve strong results with minimal irritation. Its patented DermShield™ technology makes it possible to use highly concentrated acids while reducing common side effects such as intense redness, burning or excessive irritation.
It is particularly suitable for acne, rosacea, pigmentation, sun damage and signs of ageing, helping renew the skin and improve radiance and evenness.
The clinically tested treatment is safe and can also be suitable for more sensitive skin.
Important: Do not use products containing retinol for 72 hours before or after the treatment.
