Trust is the most important part of our work – and trust begins with getting to know one another. In this blog series, we introduce the aesthetic medicine specialists behind our treatments, advice and care.

Today, get to know our wonderful colleague Kristel Kaur, who openly shares what drives her in life, what keeps her calm and what makes her love her work every day.

Esteetilise meditsiini spetsialist Kristel Kaur

What makes you genuinely happy in everyday life?

“I am happy when I accomplish something – whether it is completing a task at work, exercising or learning a new skill. I like feeling that I am moving forward and developing.”

What is your strongest character trait?

“My strength is positivity – even in difficult situations, I try to see the good and remain calm.”

What is your ‘secret talent’ or a skill that many people do not know about?

“I am good at noticing small details – spelling mistakes in texts, for example.”

What first fascinated you about the world of beauty?

“What first fascinated me was the opportunity to create beauty while also having a positive effect on how people feel. I love that my work can help people feel more confident. I also appreciate that this field constantly offers new skills and challenges – development never ends.”

If you did not work in the beauty industry, what would you do?

“I would probably do something health-related, such as nutritional counselling.”

What is the best advice you have received in life?

“One piece of advice that has deeply influenced me and that I remind myself of again and again is simple: believe in yourself! It has helped me take steps forward even when I doubted whether I was good enough or ready. Believing in yourself does not mean that everything will work out on the first try. It means trusting your journey, learning from mistakes and moving on. This advice has been my inner compass during both difficult moments and new beginnings.”

What has inspired you most recently?

“Recently, I have been most inspired by the rhythm I have created in my life – morning workouts and evening walks.”

If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

“Dedicated, calm and confident.”

What is your go-to ritual when you are having a bad day?

“When I am having a difficult or bad day, I always go for a long walk. It helps me organise my thoughts. I usually listen to a podcast or my favourite music.”

What are you most proud of about yourself?

“I am proud of my ability to remain calm and balanced even in difficult situations.”

What is your guilty pleasure?

“My guilty pleasures are a glass of prosecco or tortilla chips.”

Are you more chaos or order?

“Definitely order. I enjoy cleanliness and order both at work and at home.”

What is the strangest or most unexpected thing that has happened with a client?

“Sometimes the most unexpected thing is when a client arrives for a treatment feeling very anxious but leaves smiling and thanking me – that transformation is special and memorable every time.”

If you could be someone else for one day, who would it be and why?

“If I could be someone else for one day, I would like to be a famous actor. I would love to experience what it feels like to be on the set of a world-famous film, work with the best in the industry and discover what goes on behind the scenes. It would be an opportunity to see the world from a completely different perspective.”

What is the most spontaneous thing you have ever done?

“To be honest, I consider myself a very unspontaneous person – I always like to plan everything in detail.”

If you had your own beauty clinic, what would its name and atmosphere be?

“If I had my own beauty clinic, it might be called ‘Naturally You’ – something that conveys natural beauty, confidence and individuality. The studio would feel calm, bright and cosy: a place where you feel cared for, and where beauty is not manufactured but brought to the fore. Lots of natural tones, soft light, a warm approach and, of course, individual care for every client.”

Which aesthetic treatment do you enjoy most or have regularly?

“I regularly have botulinum toxin injections. This treatment helps prevent wrinkles from forming and keeps my wrinkles under control.”

What is the biggest beauty myth you would like to dispel?

“One of the biggest beauty myths I would like to dispel is the idea that lip fillers always mean unnaturally large, conspicuous lips. In reality, the purpose of the treatment is much subtler: to refine the lip contour, smooth fine lines above the upper lip and restore natural volume that gradually diminishes with age. Well-executed filler injections do not have to be obvious – the best compliment is when the result simply looks fresher, more harmonious and natural.”

Do you have your own ‘beauty mantra’ or motto?

“My beauty mantra is: Always natural results. The aim is not to turn someone into somebody else, but to highlight and gently enhance their natural individuality.”

What is the most memorable feedback you have received from a client?

“Every piece of positive feedback is special to me and I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. I am always genuinely grateful when someone takes the time to say something kind – it reassures me that my work matters to someone. The most memorable comments are when a client says that my work made their day better or helped them feel more confident. Those are the words that stay with me and provide real motivation.”

Which beauty product or tip has helped you most in life?

“Definitely using sun protection from a young age. This simple but effective habit has helped protect my skin and keep it healthy. Sun protection is the foundation of my beauty routine; I stay loyal to it and absolutely recommend it to others. I also use a cream containing retinol to support skin renewal.”
