My journey into the world of beauty: how NOOR Clinic was born
Every dream begins somewhere. My journey into beauty and aesthetic medicine began unexpectedly while I was still working as a midwife in a maternity hospital. It started with a young woman who experienced urinary incontinence after giving birth. Her situation affected me deeply: she was so young and had her whole life ahead of her, yet the problem caused her considerable insecurity and embarrassment.
My first thought was: could surgery really be her only option? I went home and began looking for alternatives, hoping to find something that could improve the quality of life of both her and other women in similar situations. Through this research, I discovered the world of beauty and aesthetic medicine, which offered many possibilities and a sense of hope. There were laser treatments, dermal fillers and much more that could help both physically and emotionally.
Moving into aesthetic medicine and discovering a new passion
The more I read and researched, the more I realised that my knowledge as a midwife could provide an excellent foundation for aesthetic medicine and help me offer solutions and support to women facing similar concerns. At the same time, I quickly understood that intimate treatments were not yet common in Estonia. If I wanted to work in this field, I had a great deal more to learn. I began researching and studying different aesthetic treatments and increasingly realised that this was my calling.
I admit that when I was younger, I did not understand why anyone would use Botox or dermal fillers. I even promised myself that Botox would be the very last thing I would ever use! At the time, beauty was something I did not know how to appreciate at all. Today, however, this world has completely captivated me. I am one hundred per cent dedicated to aesthetics and, honestly, completely in love with the field.
The dream of my own clinic – NOOR Clinic
When I began working in aesthetic medicine, I realised that one day I wanted to create my own company. It seemed like a distant dream at the time, but it carried me through challenges and gave me a goal to work towards. Life tested me sooner than I expected, however: one day, I unexpectedly lost my job. I felt the ground disappear beneath my feet and depression begin to set in.
At that very moment, someone entered my life who helped me rebuild. Dr Svetlana Ermel offered me support and the opportunity to work with her, while also giving me the freedom to begin creating my own clinic – NOOR Clinic. I remain deeply grateful to her. Her selfless support and belief in my dream helped me find my feet again and continue my journey.
‘NOOR’ and the infinity symbol – my philosophy of beauty and eternal youth
For me, the name NOOR symbolises boundless vitality and possibility. The infinity symbol in the logo means that youth and beauty are always within us, but maintaining and supporting them requires keeping both mind and body fresh and balanced. Youth is not only about appearance; it is also confidence, positive energy and openness to life.
I believe that every client is unique and deserves an individual approach. My goal is to help people achieve an appearance and sense of wellbeing that make them happy within. Whether that means greater confidence, finding the best version of themselves or simply wanting to feel youthful in their own body, NOOR Clinic is here to support that journey.
The next step in creating the clinic: finding and building the premises
Creating the clinic was a larger and more complex undertaking than I had initially imagined. The next major step lay ahead: finding suitable premises and turning them into a client-centred beauty clinic with a calm atmosphere where everyone would feel welcome.
